Cell phones and other Mobile Devices

Page history last edited by Cindy Rudy 12 years ago

Cell phones and other mobile devices can be used for instruction in FY12.  Guidelines and other helpful documents will be posted here for your use.  Please consult the Student Handbook and Conduct Code for FY12 for information on obtaining permission to launch a project that integrates phones into instruction.

Please feel free to add information that will be helpful to all of our users!

Great blog (http://www.cellphonesinlearning.com/) by Liz Kolb, titled From Toy to Tool: Cell Phones in Learning: A Conversation about integrating student cell phones into classroom curricula. The blog provides great links for the K-12 educators, though I would consider many of the links 5th through 12th grade.

Please feel free to check out the Cell Phone Lesson Plans under the Navigator on the top side bar

Check out the Page titled "Cell Phone Resources"  Great websites with brief descriptions. There are more sites.  However, I only included the websites that were "FREE" as of 09/09/2010.
